Joseph S. De Amorin, Esq.

I was born and raised in the Ironbound section of Newark, New Jersey. In 1980 I earned an undergraduate degree in Political Science from Rutgers University. My degree of Doctor of Jurisprudence was obtained from Drake University Law School in Des Moines, Iowa, in 1983. I have been licensed to practice law in New Jersey since 1983. Upon being admitted as an attorney, I worked at a law firm that handled insurance defense, personal injury and criminal matters. In 1985, I opened my law office as a sole practitioner concentrating in real estate law, DWI and traffic violation defense, personal injury law on behalf of persons injured in accidents, immigration law, landlord/tenant law, business law and wills and estates. I have practiced in the trial and appellate courts throughout the State of New Jersey, successfully arguing the appeal in the case of JoSantos Construction V. Bohrer, 326 N.J. Super. 42, 740 A.2d653(App.Div. 1999) which established precedent in the area of consumer fraud law. I am a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association.
